I know it ain’t even November yet but it kinda feels like Thanksgiving and Kitty even came back for seconds this morning. I had fed her and after a bit I looked out and she was gone and her dish was empty so I let Murphy out.Opps Kitty was at the foot of the stairs and came bounding up expecting seconds and was met face to face with Murphy. However I was able to stop Murphy and get her back in the house.Meanwhile Kitty calmly waited while I got her another can of food. I guess those little cans are not enough for her or she too thought it was like Thanksgiving.
Last night I looked out the window and the raccoons were back all six of them and in the pouring rain were having quite a feast. Should be some good videos when I take the camera in later today.
Here is the three big boys as we call them there was four of them but I think one left the group to hang with the main flock. They will be having Thanksgiving here rather than being Thanksgiving on somebody's table for hunting season is past and they have a safe haven here on goodoldbeanfarm.
What about a little quote for today OK it won’t be about Thanksgiving we still have a lot of October left so how about this………
Bittersweet October. The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter. ~Carol Bishop Hipps
There that wasn’t too bad now was it? Now I must say once more You are welcome to come on back tomorrow for another peek into the life and times of this goodoldbean…………

Hi Woody....sorry I have not been blogging for a while. Between Bobbie's back going out and the Reno going on, it's a little nuts here. It breaks my heart to think of "Kittie Bean Squatter" being left out in the cold for the winter. I know your place is too small but can't Joe take her/him? in? I can't stand it. What about calling the ASPCA? I have a friend that would probably take him to the place in Cumberland? it's cool to watch it mingle with the wild animals but it will get awfully cold without shelter this winter. Great videos. I just got done catching up since last Sunday.
Beautiful turkeys!
Can You see if they are fewer after thanksgiving or do they all manage to survive that holiday :-) I think they celebrate Thanksgiving because they have places they feel safe as on Your property :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
