Here we are again on another fine fall day. This morning as I made the coffee I glanced out the window and noted there was a large group of birds at the goodoldbeanfeedingstation. There were blue jays and many black birds all a flitter gathering seeds. The gathering of black birds is as you may know a sure sign of Fall.
So I grabbed the camera and sneaked out on the deck thinking I would get some nice pictures BUT WHOOSHA they heard me open the door and away they all flew.I sat a few more minutes waiting to see if they returned but when they didn’t I got a couple shots of the scantly clad trees.
But perhaps we will see the blackbirds when I bring in the goodoldbeangamecamera later today.
Rain is expected for tonight and tomorrow so I will make a store run and a trip to the dump today. So I guess I better get in the little quote for today and get on with the day.
A wind has blown the rain away and blown the sky away and all the leaves away, and the trees stand. I think, I too, have known autumn too long.
e. e. cummings
OH and you are welcome to come on back tomorrow for more goodoldbeanblogging and may your day be a merry as mine.

Those naked trees!! Hurry up and get something one them will ya! Oh that is a sure sign that this month is going by way too fast. It's my favorite month..."sigh". You and Bobbie are on the same plane...he wants to go to the dump today too...before the 'big rains' begin. Starting yesterday he came down with a BIG head cold. Poor guy...he just got over putting out his back and that lasted a week! It never ends! Woody...would you believe we had a huge flock of turkeys in our front yard yesterday? I hollered to Bobbie to look out the living room window! They munched for awhile and then moved on to the next door neighbors house. Hugs to Alice...
Our Blackbirds are a sure sign of spring :-) Most of them migrate during our winters so when we hear their song it´s spring. Perhaps it´s another kind of bird than You have?
So fast the trees lost their leafs! We still have most tress with leafs but not for long.
Have a great day now!
Olof.
